More United States Schools Using Blogs
Anna Davis in elementary teacher says there are many ways to use blogs in the classroom. You can ask questions and get instant feed back from your teachers and students. Blogging also improves your writing and thinking, but if the teacher does not explain how to use blogs and talk about them the students can not benefit from blogging. United States Schools Using Blogs
Marisa L. Dudiak's second-grade class in Frederick Country, Md uses blogs in the classroom. They returned from a field trip from a Native American farm, and all the students wanted to do was talk about what they saw. But instead of leading a discussion about the trip, Mrs. Dudiak had the students sign on to their classroom web log. They wrote about learning to use a bow and arrow, sitting inside a tepee and petting a buffalo. The blogs allowed them to interact with their peers more quickley than a journal and quiet children in class usually come alive online. For teachers blogs rrquire very little effort to maintain unlike web sites. So everyone seems to love doing blogs. For more information about blogs in Marisa L. Dudiak's classroom CLICK HERE.

My Web Site
I'm doing my web site on how to install an above ground pool. It's kind of hard to make the web pages for my web site but I think I'm getting the hang of it better.

Dallas's Presentation
I thought Dallas did a very good presentation. She told us about her job and what she had to do in the fields. She told us about how her job changes every season and how she goes from picking cotton to driving trucks.
Jackie's Presentation
I thought Jackie did a good presentation. It was not only interesting ,but it was informative. She showed pictures of the Philippines and told us about their customs and their way of life.
The Importance of Blogging
In the past three week of blogging its getting easier and i'am learning more about it. I'm starting to realize the importance of blogging. A blog is a user-generated website where entries are made in journal style and displayed. Blogs provide commentary or news on a particular subject. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. Blogging can come in handy in the class rooms. By having each child have there own blog page they can talk to one another about school and ask questions of what they did not understand and another student could respond to them. Blogging could be a great way of learning if used correctly. On the negative side of it your students could not use it for school and use it to chat with friends or other things.
